SOLVED: Windows XP Error, The system has attempted to load or restore a file

Windows XP Error:

The system has attempted to load or restore a file into the registry, but the specified file is not in a registry file format
Error box appears after logon...

Verified Solution 1-3-2013:

Log into affected user profile (account), navigate to c:\Documents and Settings\Default User\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows
Rename UsrClass.dat to UsrClass.old
Rename UsrClass.dat.log to UsrClass.dat.log.old
Restart computer

Machine had failing hard drive which originally caused corruption..
